This series of images is from a Global Positioning Studies course I took over the summer. Traveling to Wyoming and living in the area for ten days with 12 other students who I hadn’t known prior to the trip—this experience let me submerge myself into the Western culture of Wyoming. I developed a deeper appreciation for the area, and it is a place I would love to go back. The photography course included (but was not limited to) artist lectures, in-class workshops with Photoshop, and of course field work using a digital and 35mm camera.
For me, photography is a fun way to practice creating the ideal composition. You only have so much space to fit into the frame, so every detail counts.
